Howland Cultural Center Exhibit
April 15 – May 28, 2023 weekends from 1-5pm
Imagination & the Machine will have another exhibition at the amazing Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, NY
On December 18, 2022 “Imagination & the Machine” made its public debut at a local community center in Putnam Valley to great acclaim!
All 12 sculptures were on display arranged in a clock-like fashion with the viewer at the center.

Imagination and the Machine is currently seeking future exhibition space for all 12 automata. Below is a sample of three of the automaton and what exhibiting them would entail.
Ideally, each automaton will be displayed on a pedestal with a one-page back story that explains its origin and function. They would all be displayed in a circle, mimicking the hours on a clock. Each figure should be shown in a way that allows the viewer to have a 360 degree view of it.
However, we are open to other display options to accommodate the needs of the exhibition space. Please note that these figures are sculptural works and are not kinetic objects.
